Employees, suppliers, and subcontractors are responsible for implementing the practices outlined in our corporate safety policy by:
- Constructing products which can be installed using safe and sound work practices
- Using innovative technology and processes to prevent an adverse impact from construction operations on employee health and the environment others work in
- Assuring compliance with all applicable laws and OSHA regulations in each state and municipality the company operates in
- Providing guidance within our business segments to establish effective occupational health, safety, and environmental standards
The results of following this corporate safety policy have produced a 2010 Experience Modification Rating of .82 and an Incidence Rate of 4.94. The 2011 M.O.D. rate increased slightly to .96
Safety is one of the highest priorities of Nash, Inc. and our hardworking employees are responsible for the great safety ratings we have achieved.
As a member of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., Nash, Inc. has been awarded the Safety Training and Evaluation Process Award which recognizes a Silver Level of achievement for our ongoing efforts in the development of a quality safety program for 2011.
