Changing your Resolution
1. Let's go to your Desktop, that is the screen you see when your 1st boot up your computer, it has the "Start Menu" on the bottom left hand side.
2. Once there, anywhere on the that screen, EXCEPT on an icon, Right Click and it will open a menu. On that menu chose the last option that says, "Properties." AS SHOWN BELOW.

3. After you click on Properties another window will open and on the top there are TABS, choose the far right tab labeled "SETTINGS" AS SHOWN BELOW.

4. There is a section called "Screen resolution" and if you grab that bar in the middle and move it to the left or right it will show you many resolution options and sometimes, depending on your video card, it will show you few options. Choose the 1024 x 768 option. If that option is not available it is because your video card can't handle that resolution.
5. Click Apply and a message will appear that it will change your settings and your screen will Flicker and once it changes you will notice your icons got smaller and your Desktop looks Bigger. You will have a box asking you if you want to keep your new settings and you can choose YES or NO depending on if you like the new settings. Once complete, the windows will disappear and you will be back to your desktop with your new settings. **NOTE: If you have win98 you may have to reboot.**
